Criteria for fertilizer exports outside of the Kingdom

Currently, there are three types of fertilizers exported outside the kingdom: animal-based, plant-based, and other types of fertilizers. These are exempted from export taxes as they are not regulated by the Ministry of Commerce. However, if the importing country requires certification, exporters must obtain the certificate before export. The criteria for intending to export fertilizers outside the kingdom follows the announcement of the Department of Agricultural Extension as follows:

  1. The announcement by the Department of Agricultural Extension regarding the criteria, methods, and conditions for import, export, or production of fertilizers not required to comply with sections 12 and 35 of the 1975 Fertilizer Act, as amended by the Fertilizer Act.
  2. In the case where the application or supporting documents for consideration are incomplete or incorrect and cannot be immediately corrected, the application recipient and the applicant must jointly sign a record of the deficiencies and document list, along with a timeframe for the applicant to make further corrections. If the applicant does not make further corrections within the specified period, the application recipient will proceed only after the applicant has completed the corrections.
  3. The process according to the manual begins to count time from when the officer has checked that the documents are complete and correct as specified in the public manual.

For service channels, business days and hours are as follows:
