Procedures for submitting an application for permission to import fertilizers into the Kingdom

1. Verification of Document:
   • The applicant submits an import notification document for fertilizer, along with accurate and complete supporting documents.
   • The officer checks the submitted application document and accompanying evidence, records the information, and accepts the notification for importing fertilizer.
2. Verification of Product Standards/Other by the applicant coordinating with relevant agencies, preparing the product containers, and/or products for inspection.
3. Inspection Process:
   • The officer inspects the correctness of the products, randomly collects samples, and permits the product to be stored at the location specified in the fertilizer import permit. 
   • The officer sends the sample to the Agricultural Chemistry Research Group's laboratory, Department of Agriculture Research and Development of Agricultural Production Factors.
4. Consideration Process:
   • The laboratory officer analyzes the fertilizer samples in the lab.
   • The laboratory officer at the Department of Agriculture Research and Development of Agricultural Production Factors notifies the results of the analysis to the import plant inspection checkpoint.
5. The officer stamps and signs, permitting the product to be used.

     Fees are divided into:

     Vehicle Fee: Charged according to actual usage.

     Analysis Fee: Priced between 400 - 3,000 baht per sample, depending on the formula and type of fertilizer.
