Documentation for Requesting Permission to Trade or Possess Protected Forest Products

     The possession of protected forest products is considered a violation of the Forest Act. Any individual or entity in possession of these products must apply for the appropriate permission in accordance with the law. The necessary documentation and fees are as follows:

Documents Required:

  • Original National ID Card
  • Power of Attorney, a copy of the ID card, and a copy of the house registration (1 set) in case the applicant is not able to make contact in person, accompanied by the original National ID Card of the appointee
  • Copy of legal entity registration evidence, in case of legal entities, along with a copy of certification for limited companies and a copy of the shareholders' list
  • Copy of evidence showing the use of business premises such as a copy of the house owner's house registration, land title deed copy, or lease agreement, or permission to use the premises, along with a copy of the ID card and a copy of the house registration of the property owner
  • Form Kor Por 1 for a request to trade protected forest products / Form Kor Por for a request to possess protected forest products (original)
  • Original application form for a laborer's or worker's manual
  • Copy of evidence showing the acquisition of protected forest products, such as an invoice or a sales receipt

Fees:

  • Permit to trade protected forest products: 20 baht per copy
  • Permit to possess protected forest products: 20 baht per copy
  • Laborers or worker's manual: 1 baht per copy
