Documentation for Requesting Permission to Collect Non-Protected Forest Products within National Reserves

     A protected forest product refers to any items that are strictly prohibited from being removed from the forest. In order to collect non-protected forest products within national reserves, one must apply for permission from the authorities, otherwise, it would be considered a violation of the law. The following are the required documents and fees for the application:

  1. Original National ID Card
  2. 1 copy of the house registration
  3. 1 copy of the legal entity certificate, issued no more than 6 months before the date of the application. The original certificate must be brought in on the day of application, and all copies must be certified as true copies, along with the objective of the legal entity, attached with the legal entity's regulations.
  4. Original application for permission to collect forest products (Form Por Sor 9)
  5. Original Power of Attorney letter, attached with a copy of the ID card, affixed with a revenue stamp, all copies must be certified as true copies, and a copy of the ID card of the person granting the power of attorney.
  6. Evidence of permission to use the area of the national reserve, 1 copy, in case of man-made forest products.

Fees:

  1. Permit to collect forest products within national reserves (Form Por Sor 10): 20 baht per copy
  2. Laborer's or contractor's manual for collecting forest products within national reserves (Form Por Sor 12): 5 baht per person
