Customs clearance for exportation by sea freight: Types of Export Declaration

     Sea transport is very useful for transporting huge volumes of goods or large products. The cost is cheaper in comparison with other types of transport. Enterprises/ exporters who wish to export goods by sea shipment must comply with laws, regulations, and declarations of Thai Customs and related departments. They should know the types of Export Declaration and how to prepare required documents.

Types of Export Declaration

1. Kor Sor Kor 101/1 form is applied in these cases:

• • Export general goods;
  • Export personal and privileged goods;
  • Export goods from bonded warehouse
  • Export goods with tax refund;
  • Export goods with duty drawback under section 19 Bis;
  • Export goods with re-import status;
  • Re-export.

2. A.T.A. Carnet is a form of Export Declaration used for temporary import or export;

3. Export Declaration for temporary import/ export of cars and motorcycles 

Required documents:

1. Invoice;

2. Permission form or related document for controlled goods (if applicable).
