Customs Clearance for Land Delivery: Checking and “Cutting Off Export Declaration

     In cases of land delivery, when exporters have already performed the Customs clearance procedures up to the delivery vehicles reaching the Customs House, the final step before the goods will be exported is checking and “cutting off” the Export Declaration. Carriers must report the Export Declaration number to the Customs officer. The officer will check the document and remove it from the system.

     1. In cases when the document is stamped “No inspection” (Green Line), carriers should contact the Customs officer and the goods can be exported immediately;
     2. If the document is stamped “Inspection” (Red Line), carriers should contact the Customs officer for inspection of the goods before exportation.

     If the value of the goods is not over 50,000 THB and declared “Tax exempt” or if they are not prohibited or restricted and the exporters do not apply for any kind of tax privilege, exporters or carriers should submit the form Export Product List (กศก. 153) to a Customs officer at Customs House, a permanent border checkpoint or temporary border checkpoint, for verification before export.
