Countries whose citizens hold diplomatic/ official passports and are exempted from obtaining a visa to enter Thailand with no more than 90 days of stay, according to an agreement between the two countries. 

     Foreigners who wish to travel to Thailand must request to have their passports inspected and stamped or must obtain a visa from the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate-General located in their country of residence or from the Thai ambassador who has been assigned to oversee the country where they reside.

     However, citizens of some countries may enter Thailand by using their diplomatic passports or official passports, and they are exempted from inspection and stamping in accordance with an agreement between their countries and Thailand. Citizens of the following countries are allowed to stay in Thailand for no more than 90 days:

  2. Argentina
  3. Austria
  4. Belarus
  5. Belgium
  6. Bhutan
  7. Brazil
  8. Bulgaria
  9. Chile
  10. Colombia
  11. Costa Rica
  12. Croatia
  13. Czech Republic
  14. El Salvador
  15. Estonia
  16. Finland
  17. France (diplomatic passports only)
  18. Georgia 
  19. Germany 
  20. Greece (diplomatic passports only)
  21. Hungary
  22. India
  23. Israel
  24. Italy
  25. Japan
  26. South Korea
  27. Kosovo
  28. Kuwait
  29. Latvia
  30. Liechtenstein
  31. Luxembourg
  32. Mexico
  33. Montenegro
  34. Morocco

     Furthermore, citizens of Brazil, Peru, and South Korea have been granted an exemption from the requirement to obtain a visa for tourism and a stay of no more than 30 days. At the same time, all three countries have agreed to exempt holders of diplomatic, official, and ordinary passports from the requirement of having to obtain a visa stamp. This allows nationals of all three countries to stay in Thailand for up to 90 days without the need for a visa stamp.

     With respect to the citizens of Vietnam and Hong Kong, they have been granted an exemption from the requirement to obtain a visa for tourism and a stay of no more than 30 days in Thailand. At the same time, holders of diplomatic, official, and ordinary passports have been exempted from the requirement to obtain a visa stamp, allowing them to stay in Thailand for up to 30 days without the need for a visa stamp.
