Six Thai films have gained international acclaim and were selected for screening at the New York Asian Film Festival, the most prestigious Asian film festival in the United States. This participation has attracted a large audience and promoted Thailand's image as a center of Soft Power in the film industry with the potential for global competition.

Supporting Thai films to participate in international film festivals is one of the key strategies of the government, focusing on using Soft Power to promote Thai culture and add value to the country's creative industry. The selected films include:

1. "Lahn Mah" which won the Audience Award, reflecting warmth and family relationships.
2. "Dan Sap" a mysterious story set in a remote land.
3. "Puen (Not) Sinit" focusing on the complex relationships within a group of friends.
4. "Som Miti" presenting a profound and creative story, using delicate imagery and sound to convey the feelings and emotions of characters between the real world and imagination.
5. "Pattaya Heat: The City Hunt" a story of the fight for justice in Pattaya, featuring exciting action scenes and thrilling chases.
6. "Operation Undead (Ch.P.1: The Battlefield of Resurrection)" a story about fighting zombies in a dangerous battlefield, filled with horror and thrilling battles.

Each film has its unique charm and engaging content, making Thai cinema recognized and appreciated by international audiences. In addition to this success, the Ministry of Culture plans to continue promoting Thai films on the international stage, including supporting production and developing personnel in the film industry to ensure Thai films reach a sustainable global level. This not only promotes Thai culture but also strengthens the country's creative economy, elevating the Thai film industry to a global standard while enhancing the nation's creative economy.
