e-Commerce Registration Process
Today, trading products or services through online channels, known as e-commerce, creates much economic value, and the trend is growing continually. Therefore, to carry out the business properly, and to assure customers of the business’s reliability, it must also be registered as an e-commerce business.
An e-commerce venture must be registered as a commercial entity, whether it is a natural person or juristic person whose business is located in Thailand. The following are some examples:
Commercial registration is required within 30 days of the commencement of commercial operations.
Commercial registration can be done almost anywhere in the country.
If you are located in Bangkok, you can apply for a commercial registration at the Administrative Department of the District Office in 50 districts, depending on the location of the establishment or the Office of the Treasury Economy, the Treasury Office, and the Bangkok City Hall.
If you are located in a province other than Bangkok, you may apply for commercial registration at the municipality or district administration organization in your area, or in the city of Pattaya, based on the establishment's location.
