Documentation for Establishing a Bonded Warehouse for Ship Repair or Construction Yards

      If a state enterprise, government agency, company, or partnership that has registered capital and a stable financial status wishes to establish a bonded warehouse for a ship repair or construction yard, the following documents are required:

  1. A corporate certificate issued no more than 6 months prior to the application submission. The customs officer will photocopy the document from the original, and the applicant must certify the copy by signing in the presence of the customs officer and affixing the corporate or legal entity seal.
  2. A valid identification card. The customs officer will photocopy the document from the original, and the applicant must certify the copy by signing in the presence of the customs officer.
  3. A valid passport. If the applicant is a foreign entity, they must provide a passport along with a work permit in Thailand for the authorized director who will act on behalf of the company.
  4. A business operation report (Bor Oor Jor 2) issued no more than 6 months prior to the application submission.
  5. A shareholders' list (Bor Oor Jor 5) issued no more than 6 months prior to the application submission. The customs officer will photocopy the document from the original, and the applicant must certify the copy by signing in the presence of the customs officer and affixing the corporate or legal entity seal.
  6. A Value Added Tax registration certificate (Por Por 20).
  7. A legally stamped power of attorney letter.
  8. An identification card for the person delegating authority, who must sign and certify a photocopy of their identification card.
  9. Documents detailing the bonded warehouse establishment project. The applicant must sign and certify the original documents and affix the corporate or legal entity seal. They must also certify the copies by signing and affixing the corporate or legal entity seal.
  10. Documents detailing the internal control system. The applicant must sign and certify the original documents, affixing the corporate or legal entity seal. They must also certify the copies by signing and affixing the corporate or legal entity seal.
  11. Documents showing details about the equipment and tools for the bonded warehouse. The applicant must sign and seal the original document, and must also authenticate a copy by signing and sealing it.
  12. Documents detailing the types of items to be stored in the bonded warehouse.
  13. Documents detailing the system for controlling the accounting of imported and exported goods and remaining goods that can be reported to the Customs Department. The applicant must sign and seal the original document, and must also authenticate a copy by signing and sealing it.
  14. Documents showing ownership of the land and construction. If the land is mortgaged, provide consent from the mortgagee to use such land for the bonded warehouse. If the consent is signed by a person given power of attorney, submit a letter of attorney in accordance with the law, along with a copy of the ID of the giver and the receiver of the power of attorney who signed the consent letter. In the case that the property comprises multiple title deeds, the company should provide a detailed explanation in the form of images of which areas are used. The applicant must authenticate the copies by signing and sealing them.
  15. Financial statements should not show any accumulated losses. In the case of a new entity, a three-year forecast of profit and loss must be submitted. The applicant must authenticate the copies by signing and sealing them.
  16. Factory operation notification form (Ror Ngor 2).
  17. Certification of capability in repairing or constructing sea vessels or parts of sea vessels larger than 60 gross tons, from the Office of Marine Transportation and Maritime Trade Promotion.
  18. Color photographs of the proposed location. The applicant must sign and seal the original document, and must also authenticate a copy by signing and sealing it.
  19. An A4-sized (no larger than 22 x 30 cm) map of the proposed location. The applicant must sign and seal the original document, and must also authenticate a copy by signing and sealing it.
  20. A layout plan of the business area showing the proposed location, A2-sized (no larger than 40 x 60 cm). The applicant must sign and seal the original document.
  21. Color photographs of the proposed location in case of application for operation commencement. The applicant must sign and seal the original document, and must also authenticate a copy by signing and sealing it.
