In order to alleviate difficulties in demonstrating shipping manifests for businesses that have the same project goods but need to transport them in multiple ship trips, the Customs Department has introduced a practice referred to as "Multiple Ship Trip Import Manifest" to facilitate easier business operations.
The guidelines for preparing a multiple ship trip import manifest are as follows: when the Customs Office, the Customs Checkpoint, or the Customs Department, which is responsible for customs procedures for the initial shipment, receives a request for a multiple ship trip import manifest, the customs officer at the respective department should inspect the details before proposing to the commander for permission, as follows:
