An International Business Center (IBC) is a company established under Thai law to provide administrative services, technical services, support services, or treasury services to affiliated enterprises or to conduct international trade.
The following qualifications are required for submitting an IBC establishment application:
* If an IBC lacks any qualifications during any accounting period, benefits will be suspended only during that accounting period.
** If an IBC has been denied tax benefits for at least two consecutive accounting periods or is not an IBC, the Director-General of the Revenue Department has the authority to revoke the IBC beginning with the first accounting period.
Approval submission
* Companies may apply for personal income tax breaks for international trade only if they also apply for breaks for being a head office or treasury center.
