Thailand’s “vaccine development,” in line with the BCG model in the field of medicine and vaccines, focuses on development with sustainability in mind. Although Thailand has the ability to produce vaccines in upstream areas, such as vaccine discovery, proof of concept, etc., from a one-year procurement, it becomes an obstacle when entrepreneurs are unable to plan long-term production, which affects the stability of the country's vaccine management. The goal of vaccine development under the BCG model is to develop vaccines for sale and prepare the development of new vaccines for industrial production, along with being able to test in clinical trials.
