     The process of inspecting foreign nationals with a place of residence in Thailand and departing the country through a land border point can be made more convenient for both travellers and for officials if they prepare themselves and understand the procedures prior to travel. The steps for inspecting foreign nationals with a place of residence who wish to depart Thailand are as follows:

1. Verify the completeness of the passport, which must have a Non-Quota stamp, indicating the number of foreign nationals allowed to enter the country each year, and a stamp indicating the type of foreign national who had entered the country. In addition, verify the completeness of the endorsement on the back of the residence certificate (in cases in which the place of residence has not been abandoned), and check the details in the Tor Mor 6 form to ensure that the information in the passport matches;
2. Verify that the person matches the passport;
3. Record the data for the inspection of the target watchlist and record the departure data;
4. Stamp the passport, residence certificate, and Tor Mor 6 form four times, for both entry and exit;
5. Once the details have been thoroughly checked, the officer will return the passport.
