Application to stay in Thailand in the case of employment in a business or regional operating office

      Many foreigners enter Thailand in order to do business, such as investors, executives or experts, as well as foreigners working in a company’s regional operating office, providing administrative, technical, or support services to affiliated enterprises or branches of the office, whether located in or outside Thailand. When their permit period has expired (first year or the following year), they must submit an application for an extension of their stay in Thailand, with the following documents:

      1. TM.7 form with one photo size 4 x 6 cm. (applicant and followers, if any):

      2. TM.8 form with one photo size 4 x 6 cm. (applicant and followers, if any);

      3. Copy of the applicant's passport;

      4. Copy of the work permit;

      5. List of all foreigners in the company;

      6. Position chart;

      7. Certification letter for foreigners working in accordance with the form of the Immigration Office (STM.1) / clarification letters / job posting to recruit Thai employees;

      8. Copy of the latest balance sheet and income statement (with original documents);

      9. Copy of the withholding tax return form (PND.1) with the name of the Thai employees and the name of the applying foreigner with a copy of the latest salary receipt and the original copy;

      10. Copy of the personal income tax return of the applicant (PND. 91) with a copy of the latest salary receipt and the original copy;

      11. Copy of Social Security Fund Contributions Payment Form (Sor.Por.Sor.1-10) of the latest month along with the original copy;

      12. Proof of the organization’s registration, such as company registration certificate (original copy) or registration of partnership by the registrar (original copy), certified within the past 6 months;
      13. Original list of shareholders certified by the registrar within the past 6 months (BOJ.5);

      14. In case of having a family accompanying, family status such as marriage certificate, birth certificate or certificate from the embassy are required (original copy); 

      15. Office location map;

      16. Photos of the company: Inside the company, there must be 4 photos of employees sitting at work, and outside the company, there must be 2 photos of the company's name and location;

      17. Other documents as specified by the Immigration Officers Monitoring Committee (Form STM.2).
