1. Know Your Traffic Signs

  • Mandatory Signs (Red): Stop, No Entry, No Parking
  • Warning Signs (Yellow): Curves, Intersections, Schools
  • Guide Signs (Blue/Green): Highways, Parking, Important Locations

2. Basic Traffic Rules

  • Drive on the left, overtake on the right
  • Stop for pedestrians at crosswalks
  • Keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front
  • Give way to emergency vehicles
  • Always wear a helmet and seatbelt

3. Road Etiquette

  • Do not cut off other drivers

  • Essential items in your vehicle: Fire extinguisher, first aid kit, reflective triangle
  • Steps to take in an accident: Park safely, set warning signs, and report to police
  • Handling emergencies: Flooding, fires, brake failure

7. Vehicle Preparation

  • Check engine oil, coolant, brake fluid
  • Check tire condition, pressure, tread
  • Check headlights, taillights, brake lights, and turn signals
  • Check windshield wipers and brake systems.
