"Any Age Can Learn" - Credit Bank Introduces 5 Credit Transfer Models to Enhance Educational Opportunities

The National Credit Bank system has opened up models for accumulating and transferring credits from learning experiences, whether from formal education, non-formal education, or real work experience. These credits can be used throughout life and transferred flexibly between higher education institutions, addressing educational disparities.

This initiative allows working-age individuals to develop additional skills and knowledge according to their interests and potential. They can continuously accumulate knowledge from work experience, training, and professional development, thus increasing opportunities for lifelong learning. The five credit transfer models include:

  1. Credit from Standardized (CS): Transfer credits from certificates obtained from standard organizations.
  2. Credit from Non-degree (CN): Transfer credits without a degree; certificates may be available, allowing learners to transfer non-degree credits to specific courses.
  3. Credit from Training (CT): Transfer credits from training programs, where the course responsible assesses knowledge to validate and partially transfer credits.
  4. Credit from Portfolio (CP): Transfer credits based on experience, evaluated through a portfolio.
  5. Credit from Examination (CE): Transfer credits based on examinations created by the course.

This system is expanding cooperation with educational institutions, government agencies, and private organizations nationwide to cover various professions and increase lifelong learning opportunities for working individuals.
