According to a report from the Department of Fisheries, total exports of fishery products in 2024 (January-December) were worth 7.08 billion USD (240,062 million THB), the highest value in ten years.
Key performers included canned tuna, valued at 2.42 billion USD (82,250 million THB), and canned food for cats and dogs (819 million USD, or 27,751 million THB). Thailand’s largest export markets were the U.S.A., Japan, and China.
In 2025, Thailand’s fishery exports are still positive thanks to the rising global demand. In addition, the Department of Fisheries has elevated the quality and standards of fishery products throughout its supply chains.
