The Ministry of Education held a meeting between leaders from Thailand and Finland to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the education sector. The discussion highlighted the long-standing positive relationship between the two countries and reaffirmed a shared commitment to advancing educational outcomes through innovation and technology.
Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing joint efforts under their existing cooperation framework, particularly in areas such as innovative teaching methods, improving learning outcomes, integrating AI into education, and promoting personalized learning. The Thai side expressed appreciation for the strong collaboration through the Joint Working Group, which has supported ongoing progress.
The meeting also expressed hopes to expand cooperation into new areas, including AI-based teaching tools and teacher training programs, with the aim of preparing Thai education for the future.
Following the discussion, both delegations witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Thai vocational education agencies and Finnish education partners. This agreement aims to strengthen collaboration, exchange expertise, and support long-term development in vocational and technical education.
The event concluded with commitments from both sides to continue driving forward innovative, future-ready education initiatives.
