Documentation for Permit Application for Controlled Timber Processing in Bangkok Metropolitan Area

     For those wishing to apply for a permit to process controlled timber according to the National Reserved Forest Act, when submitting a request in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area, applicants must prepare the following documents and pay the corresponding fees:

  1. Original National Identification Card.
  2. One copy of the House Registration Document.
  3. Original Timber Processing Permit Application.
  4. Original map showing the proposed location.
  5. Evidence that the applicant has legal rights to access the forest area, with one copy. Documents could be issued by several departments such as the Crown Property Bureau, the Treasury Department, the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, among others.
  6. Legal entity certification or documents showing the establishment of the legal entity. A copy, not older than six months from the issuance date, must be submitted. All copies must be signed and stamped by the legal entity applying for the permit. Original legal entity certification must be brought on the day of application submission.
  7. Power of Attorney Document in original, with a copy of the National Identification Card attached. All copies must be signed and the document must bear the required stamp duty as per law.

Fees:

  1. Permit for Controlled Timber Processing (for commercial purposes) costs 20 Baht per copy.
  2. Permit for Controlled Timber Processing (for other purposes) costs 5 Baht per copy.
  3. Worker or Contractor Manual costs 1 Baht per person.
