The National Forest Reserve refers to forests designated by the government to maintain the conditions of the forest, its trees, or other natural resources. Those wishing to utilize non-protected wood within the National Forest Reserve must apply for a permit from the Department of Forestry or related agencies. The required documents and fees are as follows:
Required Documents:
- Original Citizen Identification Card
- One copy of House Registration
- One copy of a Business Registration Certificate; in case of a Limited Company, please provide a copy of the Articles of Association and a Shareholder List
- Original application for permit to utilize wood within the National Forest Reserve (Form Por Sor 1)
- Power of Attorney document, including the ID card copy of the grantor, with a 10 Baht stamp duty; all copies must be certified as true copies, and the ID card copy of the grantor should be attached
- Original application for a Worker or Contractor handbook and Por Sor 3 document; it should be attached with the ID card copy of the worker or contractor
- Evidence of permission to use the National Forest Reserve area, one copy
- Site plan showing the boundary and neighboring areas, one original copy; if applicable to a corporation
- Evidence that the applicant has legal access to the area, such as property rights documents issued by the competent authority, e.g., the Department of Treasury
- Detailed project plan along with the blueprint or project layout
Fees:
- Permit to utilize wood within the National Forest Reserve (Form Por Sor 2) 20 Baht per copy
- Handbook for worker or contractor to utilize wood within the National Forest Reserve (Form Por Sor 4) 5 Baht per person
