Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya's appearance at the Official Welcome Ceremony

Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya's appearance at the Official Welcome Ceremony at the Hôtel des Invalides in France recently was more than a ceremonial occasion. It was also a graceful presentation of Thailand's cultural heritage in one of France's most distinguished state venues.

The Hôtel des Invalides, built in the 17th century during the reign of King Louis XIV, was originally established to honor and care for military veterans. Today, it remains one of France's foremost historical landmarks, housing the Cathédrale Saint-Louis-des-Invalides, the military cathedral of the French Armed Forces, and the Dôme des Invalides, where Emperor Napoleon I (Napoleon Bonaparte) is buried.

For the occasion, Her Royal Highness wore a lead-gray Thai Amarin traditional costume crafted from raised floral-pattern brocade fabric embellished with embroidered sequins. Tailored by National Artist Tirapan Vanarat of Tirapan Couture, the ensemble beautifully showcased Thai craftsmanship and demonstrated how traditional attire can stand with elegance and confidence on the international stage. Her appearance was completed with makeup by Phuthada Phornthamchat and hairstyling by Somporn Thirin.
