On February 4, 2025, a preparatory meeting was held for Thailand's first-ever hosting of the "UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of AI 2025." The Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DE), along with relevant government and private sector entities, participated in the meeting. Thailand has been honored to co-host this event with UNESCO, which will take place under the theme "Ethical Governance of AI in Motion" in the Asia-Pacific region.
This conference reflects Thailand's readiness to lead in ethical AI governance on a global scale. Hosting this event will enhance Thailand's economic opportunities and promote Thai culture on the global stage, reinforcing its future role in driving AI development with sustainable ethical standards.
