Jupiter Is Approaching Its Closest Point to Earth This Year — and if you want to get closer to someone special, come stargazing at Waghor!

On 10 January 2026, join the Central Region Children’s Day celebrations at King Mongkut Science Park at Waghor. In the evening, special activities will be open to children, families, and the general public, including observing Jupiter at its closest approach to Earth this year, along with other fascinating celestial objects, through telescopes.

The program also features hands-on workshops: learning how to use a star map, practicing telescope operation for astronomical observation, and guided stargazing under the real night sky with Waghor’s expert staff.

20:00–21:00 Guided Stargazing by Waghor National Science Park staff

Special Offer
Participants who register online in advance will each be provided with one telescope for personal use during the observation session—no sharing required.
