Music On The Move

Music On The Move

Music on the Move returns for its second year, presented by the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music (PGVIM), inviting you to enjoy music under the ozone-rich skies of Khao Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima. The festival will run from 18–20 July 2025 across three locations, offering three unique experiences over three immersive days.

This special event is more than just a concert—it’s a music camp open to musicians of all ages and skill levels. Participants can join workshops, masterclasses, and private coaching sessions led by world-renowned mentors and PGVIM faculty. The experience culminates in three captivating performances, where music blends seamlessly with nature, history, and local culture.

Day 1 – 18 July
Resonance at Nhapha
Venue: Nhapha Khao Yai Resort
Time: 18:30–19:30
The festival begins at the art-forward Nhapha Khao Yai Resort with a clarinet solo performance by world-class artist Andrew Simon. Set against a backdrop of cliffs and earthen walls, the resort’s architecture and sculptures harmonize with nature, making it a stunning location to open the festival.

Day 2 – 19 July
Echoes of Music & Nature
Venue: Khao Yai Art Forest
Time: 15:30–17:00
Immerse yourself in a dialogue between art and music in the heart of the forest. Surrounded by nature, you’ll experience a performance inspired by Fog Landscape #48435 by Japanese artist Fujiko Nakaya, which merges mist sculpture with Khao Yai’s lush landscape to create a rolling sea of fog on the hillside.

Day 3 – 20 July
Sound. Sip. Slow.
Venue: Harudot Khao Yai by NANA Coffee Roasters
Time: 14:00–15:00
Unwind with a cup of coffee and live music at Harudot, a café embraced by ancient trees and mountain views. The architecture blends into the environment, offering the perfect setting to slow down and savor the final day of the festival.
