T-VER development process

     The Thai Voluntary Emission Reduction Project (T-VER) development process is divided into two major steps: project registration and greenhouse gas emission certification.

     To apply for registration or certification of greenhouse gas emissions, the project developer must prepare supporting documents for consideration of the T-VER project and submit them to Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), or TGO. The following are the specifics of the T-VER project’s development process:

     The development process of a single T-VER project and a consolidated project (for carbon credit TVERs) begins with the preparation of T-VER project registration documents, as specified by the project developer, which include the following:

1. T-VER project registration application form;

2. Project design document (PDD);

3. Validation Report;

4. Co-benefits Assessment Report;

5. T-VER Credits Account Opening Documents;

6. Others as determined by the TGO Committee.

     For the development phase of the project, T-VER schemes (T-VER PoA) for carbon-credited TVERs:

1. T-VER project registration application form;

2. Project Proposal Documents T-VER PoA - DD and T-VER- CPA - DD;

3. Validation Report;

4. Co-benefits Assessment Report;

5. T-VER Credits Account Opening Documents;

6. Others as determined by the TGO Committee.

     The TGO will spend 60 working days registering the T-VER project before notifying the applicant of the results and opening a T-VER Credits account in the registration system.
