Launching the Prototype of Unique Fruits to Highlight Origin Features, Adding Value to Agricultural Products

Modern agricultural promotion not only focuses on growing and producing agricultural goods but also emphasizes adding value to products by leveraging their origins. Signature fruits are an example of highlighting unique features of their origins through local stories and culture, effectively adding value, which helps increase farmers' income and distinguish products from those produced in other areas.

Notable signature fruits include Chanthaburi durian, Nong Hiang jackfruit from Chonburi, and Ruby pomelo from Nakhon Si Thammarat. These products have received Geographical Indication (GI) certification, enhancing consumer confidence in product quality and safety. Additionally, there is support for farmers to incorporate innovations into production and processing to ensure sustainable competitiveness in the market.

The development of signature fruits not only creates stable income for local farmers but also promotes the preservation of local culture and knowledge, serving as an example of sustainable development in both economic and social aspects.
