The Non-Immigrant Visa code "O-A" (Long Stay) is a visa for foreigners who want to stay long-term in Thailand. This type of visa is issued to applicants aged 50 or over who would like to reside in Thailand for a period of not more than 1 year, with the following qualifications:
1. Aliens of all nationalities, aged 50 years and over (on the date of application submission);
2. A person who is not prohibited from entering the Kingdom;
3. No history of threats to security either to Thailand or to the country of their nationality or to the country of their residence;
4. Have citizenship or permanent residence in the country where the application is filed;
5. Does not have a disease prohibited by the Ministerial Regulation No. 14 (1992), such as leprosy, tuberculosis in the dangerous phase, elephantiasis, narcotic disease, or syphilis stage 3;
6. The visa holder is not allowed to work in Thailand.
