Green Medicine to elevate Thailand as the International Medical Hub.

 Green Medicine

For Green Medicine, which is considered as one of the factors elevating Thailand as the International Medical Hub, it is based on the reduction of chemical use and turning to organic trends and it’s a global health trend that is currently in the spotlight. The development of a wellness industry model with green medicine and creative economy is one of the approaches approved by the Medical Hub Board of Thailand in pushing Thailand towards become the Global Medical and Health Hub. This is to enhance the health and medical tourism using cannabis, hemp, and economic herbs together with creativity in order to create a new economy. This is achieved through organizing training courses for personal development, building a model hospital that uses green medicine, and creating a culture through people, experiences and stories in order to attract more tourists.

This makes both public and private sectors such as World Medical Alliance (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and CISW to cooperate with the Department of Health Service Support, Ministry of Public Health, the Federation of Thai Industries, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand in driving the country towards Health Tourism Hub and medical tourism, as well as promoting Green Medicine products, creating value to increase the country’s economic potential to have the ability to compete with foreign countries.

The focus on Green Medicine is to implement the economic pilot projects, especially medical tourism projects focusing on health and treatment by using innovations and technologies in adding value to Thai medicinal plants accepted by both Thai and foreign tourists. This is to make Thailand the Herb and Knowledge Hub by establishing the Medical Cannabis and Herbs Network as the inspiration for tourists in developing various products from medical CBD and herbs.
