The World Beach Guide, a tourist website in England, announced its rankings of the topic of 100 best beaches in the world for the year 2023 (Top 100 Beaches on Earth 2023). It was really no surprise to find that five Thai beaches were in the rankings:
No. 1, Koh Kradan, Trang Province;
No. 9, Railay Beach, Krabi Province;
No. 18, Freedom Beach, Phuket Province;
No. 21, Laem Had Beach, Koh Yao Yai, Phang Nga Province;
No. 44, Tanote Bay, Koh Tao, Surat Thani Province.
Getting so many beaches in the top 50 is a clear indication that Thailand is well known for having beautiful beaches, where the smooth sand stretches along the shoreline like a paradise for tourists.
This is especially true of Koh Kradan, an important part of Hat Chao Mai National Park, a place with some of the most beautiful islands in the country, and most of them are still in good condition, waiting to welcome visitors. It is a couple of hours south of Phuket, and even closer to Phi Phi Island, so it is surrounded by natural beauty. People don’t go there in big crowds, so it is quiet as well as serene.
