Community tourism charm – Lifestyle attractions

There is a great diversity in Thailand’s natural resources. If you want to break Thailand down into its major regions, you can do so as follows: North, central, Northeast, and South. It would be beneficial to gain exposure to the culture of the people we will be visiting.

There is a plethora of lifestyle tourism destinations in Thailand where we can immerse ourselves in the local way of life, from eating to shopping to getting a job to trying on traditional Thai clothing. Every part of the country has its own distinct character.

If you want to see how people of the Pakakeyo hill tribes live in the north, we can take you to Ban Huai Hom in the province of Mae Hong Son, a valley-centered settlement in Mae La Noi District. The people here are Christian. The main occupations are growing rice on terraces, growing coffee, and growing passion fruit, as well as raising sheep for wool, which villagers weave as a side job.

Visitors interested in experiencing rural life can do so year-round, thanks to the area's beautiful scenery and mild temperatures. Your accommodations will be those of a simple homestay; while there, explore the local culture to see if there’s anything that strikes your fancy. This is seen as the allure of local tourism, which can be even more enjoyable than the typical style.
