Accommodations in Bangkok popular among foreign tourists

       Most tourists book accommodations online before they travel, by viewing pictures and reading review recommendations. Each tourist chooses different accommodations, depending on their lifestyle, factors influencing their spending choices, and their perspective toward tourism. Bangkok is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Asia – some would even say in the world. Many tourists choose to experience outstanding points and diversity of culture. Just take a look where tourists choose to stay and why.

       Khaosan Road and Tha Phra Athit – This place seems to be a landmark among foreigners and the top check-in place. It offers nice urban scenery, not far from the Chao Phraya River, and is located near temples and Yaowarat Road, a center for famous street foods. It is a pickup point for tours, as well. So there are a lot of hostels, guest houses, and comfortable hotels on this road.

       The Sukhumvit area is another place where a lot of foreigners stay and work. Some of the city’s best hotels are around here, as well as a full range of accommodation. The days and nights are full of tourists and locals, especially along the major side streets, or sois, such as Thonglor, making this place another interesting location for everyone.

       Sathon Road and Silom Road, running parallel to each other, are known for being almost a “forest” of office buildings, making them the hub for foreign regional companies. And of course, the choices for hotels are just as plentiful.

       Ratchada – Huay Kwang – This area is becoming a New China town, as a huge number of Chinese people stay and work here, both long and short stay. Chinese people living in this area persuade their families and people they know to do business here, contributing to the occurrence of Chinese lifestyle like Chinese restaurants, shopping center.

       The other outstanding features attracting Chinese people to live in this area are the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, located on Ratchada Soi 3, and the Bank of China.
