Unlocking Work Permits with 7 MICE Activities in Thailand

Did you know? International MICE travelers visiting Thailand don't need a work permit for certain activities; a tourist visa is enough! There are seven exempted activities, including attending conferences, visiting trade shows, conducting business negotiations, attending academic lectures, participating in technical seminars, purchasing products at exhibitions, and attending company meetings as an owner.

Additionally, for urgent work lasting no more than 15 days, foreign organizers, exhibitors, and speakers do not need a work permit. They simply need to notify the registrar using Form T.T.10.

This relaxation of restrictions makes it easier for foreigners to participate in MICE activities in Thailand, enhancing the flexibility of the Thai MICE industry and attracting business travelers worldwide!
