Nine filming locations in Bangkok to track down K-drama “King the Land”

The K-drama King the Land ranks as the most watched on the streaming platform Netflix in 2023, according to a recent report revealed by Koreaboo, a website that creates Korean pop culture content in English. The series had the highest total viewing hours on Netflix for the entirety of 2023, with 446.9 million.
The series was filmed in Thailand earlier last year, and its entire tenth episode is dedicated to showcasing various attractions in Bangkok and its outskirts. The Thailand Film Office (TFO), a unit under the Department of Tourism, invites tourists to experience a culinary journey and explore the charming locations portrayed in the series, listed here:
1. Khun Daeng Yuan Noodle, on Phra Athit Road;
2. Ong Ang Walking Street, located near the Sam Yot MRT station;
3. Wat Arun, or Temple of Dawn, on Arun Amarin Road;
4. Wat Rachanatdaram Worawihan, known as Loha Prasat, on Maha Chai Road;
5. ICONSIAM shopping complex by the Chao Phraya River, on Charoen Nakorn Road;
6. Muang Boran, or the Ancient City, in Samut Prakan province: an open-air museum with replicas of historic buildings around Thailand;
7. Sala Rim Naam: a restaurant with fine Thai cuisine in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel;
8. Siri Sala: a private riverfront Thai villa from the reign of King Rama VI, on Charan Sanit Wong Road;
9. Vertigo & Moon Bar at the Banyan Tree Hotel: a rooftop bar with a panoramic view of Bangkok.
