Eastern Season of Food and Fruit Festivals

Eastern Season of Food and Fruit Festivals

Every year, from April to July, the fruit season in the eastern region of Thailand sees a massive influx of produce to the market. This period is popular among both Thai and foreign tourists, especially as various fruit farms host fresh fruit buffets, including the highly favored Durian buffet.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and related agencies have collaborated to launch the Eastern Food and Fruit Festival. This event invites tourists to experience gastronomic tourism during the high season in the eastern region, under the concept "Eat, Travel, Relax in the East". This concept promotes casual dining and traveling experiences, filled with enjoyable food-related activities and exclusive promotions, through six TAT offices, including:

TAT Rayong Office promotes weekday tourism with the "Let's sea Rayong" campaign, offering a 100 THB discount on purchases of underwater activities, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding services at 11 participating establishments throughout Rayong province, starting from 200 THB on weekdays from now until May 31, 2023. Additionally, a special 100 THB discount is available on fruit purchases from 500 THB from now until July 15, 2023.

TAT Chanthaburi Office invites participation in the "Taste Every Orchard, Savor Every Fruit Garden in Chanthaburi" activity. The first 1,000 tourists visiting the gardens within the project will receive a 100 THB discount.

TAT Trat Office offers a special 100 THB discount for every 500 THB spent on online fruit purchases (excluding shipping fees) or for those visiting fruit gardens to enjoy a buffet, from today until June 30, 2023.

TAT Chachoengsao Office plans to promote sales at Coco Cowboy, a fragrant coconut garden in Paet Riu, by offering a free beverage for every 300 THB spent on products from today until September 30, 2023.
