Criteria for issuance of aquatic animal health certificate for export

     The criteria for issuing aquatic animal health certificates for export as prescribed by the Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, are as follows:

1. The applicant who wishes to apply for aquatic animal health certificates for export out of the Kingdom must comply with the regulations of the Department of Fisheries on the application for aquatic animal health certificate for export out of the Kingdom B.E. 2557 (2014) and (No. 2) B.E. 2562 (2019);

2. The applicant must be qualified, as described below, and not possess prohibited characteristics:

       2.1 Must be a person who has registered as an exporter of aquatic animals (Sor Or), or a person who has registered as a fishery operator (Thor Bor 2, import or export business), or a person who intends to export aquatic animals for research, exhibitions, or contests, or take them abroad without commercial purposes;

       2.2 Must never have been sentenced by a final judgment for an offense related to the counterfeiting of official documents under this regulation, unless the applicant was found not guilty under the lawsuit. In the case that the applicant has been sentenced by a final judgment for an offense related to the counterfeiting of official documents under this Regulation, the applicant is able to file the application after one year from the final judgment date of the case;

       2.3 Must not be a person in the inspection process to certify the authenticity of certificates under this Regulation from the authorities of the importing country, or there are circumstances or reasonable grounds to believe that the applicant or agent is involved in or cooperates, consents, or acquiesces to an offense related to aquatic animal certificates imported into such country.

3. Aquatic animal health certificate Kor Por Mor – Sor Sor 2 (HC 2), Aquatic animal health certificate Kor Por Mor – Sor Sor 3 (HC 3), and Aquatic animal health certificate Kor Por Mor – Sor Sor 2 (HC 5), valid for 10 days after the date of issuance;

4. Aquatic animal health certificate Kor Por Mor – Sor Sor 4 (HC 4), with the certificate from the partner country, valid for not more than 10 days or as prescribed by the partner country.
