Buriram is a very interesting city. There are important historical sites, such as Phanom Rung and Mueang Tam historical parks. There is a huge football field and racing track, and the province is famous for its silk, as well. Ban Sa-nuan Nok Community is one of the villages that are famous for weaving silk cloth with unique patterns reflecting their local wisdom. Therefore, if you are interested in textiles and have limited time, you can visit and learn how silk cloth is made here in a day.

You can start by taking the shuttle cars around the village then make a stop at the Ban Sa-nuan Nok Learning Center of Silk. They will tell you how to weave silk and cotton cloths from step one, and you will get to try weaving the cloth yourself, as well. What makes the silk from this village so unique is the patterns.

You must not miss the house of silkworm cultivation, where you get to learn every step, from the egg stage until they become pupas. After that, they will be boiled to get the silk threads.

Weaving silk cloth is the main occupation of the villagers.

However, they not only have silk but also a bell house where you can learn how to make a wooden bell, which is a craft involving local wisdom going back to ancient times. The bells are used on cattle in a field or a stall.

Sroew Sanul Ground Walking Street, or the Old Market, is located in the middle of the village, and there is a 100-year-old house that is very well kept with a lot of antique items inside, especially Pha Kum Room, a room for religious ceremonies, where anyone is allowed to visit.
