       On our trip discovering  events for the followers of Buddhism and Christianity, today we take you to Mukdahan Province to get to know the famous event here, Wat Song Khon Star Parade Festival.

        Wat Song Khon Star Parade Festival is another event well worth experiencing. In addition to watching the spectacular star parade of Ban Song Khon community, as well as the spectacular lights and lights throughout the village, there are also famous local foods you can savor, such as roasted suckling pig, turkey larb, Song Khon's local dishes, and OTOP premium grade choices. It is held annually at the Shrine of the Martyrs of Song Khon, Ban Song Khon, Pong Kham Subdistrict, Wan Yai District, Mukdahan Province, in order to jointly preserve the good traditions of the community as a legacy and to become an interesting cultural tourism festival. Wat Song Khon Star Festival is a tradition that shows the belief and faith of Roman Catholic Christians in Jesus Christ on the night of Christmas, the day on which he was born, when the miracle of the Star of Bethlehem shone brightly in the night sky. It is easy for Christians and other tourists to travel here via the tourist routes linking the three provinces and Tha Rae Community in Sakon Nakhon Province.

 While you are enjoying the festivals, don’t forget to visit the church of Saint Anna in Nong Saeng Community, in Nakhon Phanom Province, and Our Lady of the Martyrs church in Ban Song Khon, Pong Kham Subdistrict, Wan Yai District Mukdahan Province, regarded as two of the largest and most beautiful modern Christian churches in Southeast Asia, which you should not miss.
