Application to stay in Thailand in accordance with Section 15 (diplomat, official), in the case of performing a duty or mission in the Kingdom of Thailand under an agreement made by the Thai government with a foreign government

      Foreigners staying in Thailand with the purpose of performing a duty or mission in the Kingdom of Thailand under an agreement made by the Thai government with a foreign Government, may submit an application to extend their stay when the permit period has expired. Theymust apply for a visa extension under Section 15 of the Immigration Act 1979 (diplomat, official), with the following requirements:

 - They must hold a diplomatic passport or official/ service/ special passport or United Nations laissez-passer, or hold an ordinary passport with a non-immigrant visa for the performance of official duties, or be exempt from a visa under agreements made by that country with the Thai government;
 - They must be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or from government agencies at the department level or equivalent.

Required documents:

 - TM.7 form;

 - Copy of passport;

 - Certificate from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or from a government agency at the department level or equivalent;

- Agreement made by the Thai government with a foreign government.
