Thailand’s Board of Investment (BOI) has recently approved a 1.2 billion baht (35 million US dollar) investment project to construct the new attraction “Jurassic World: The Experience.” The project will cover over 4,000 square meters at Asiatique The Riverfront, an open-air night market on the bank of the Chao Phraya.
The Jurassic World: The Experience, inspired by the Hollywood movie franchise from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, will be the new landmark of Thailand and the first attraction of its kind in Southeast Asia.
This immersive entertainment experience will bring animatronic dinosaurs to life through 3D design with computer-control movement. It is expected to attract a great number of visitors, both Thais and foreigners, as the Jurassic franchise has a large fan base globally.
