Fourteen selected companies joined the initiative, which focuses on innovative technologies addressing environmental and climate challenges.

The event showcased the importance of innovation in driving sustainable economic growth and strengthening Thailand’s Climate Tech ecosystem. Senior NIA executives also attended the event, including representatives from innovation finance, innovation systems, and business promotion divisions.

The orientation programme featured presentations on Climate Tech ecosystem development and an overview of the Climate X 2026 initiative. Participants also attended a special lecture titled “Driving Thai Businesses with Circular Economy,” delivered by Saengroj Srisawatkraisorn, Senior Expert of the EU SWITCH-Asia Programme.

In addition, the event included networking and knowledge-sharing sessions, allowing entrepreneurs to introduce their businesses, exchange experiences, discuss challenges in Climate Tech development, explore collaboration opportunities, and identify funding and market needs. Breakout discussions were also conducted to develop tailored Individual Development Plans for each participating company.

The Climate X 2026 programme is designed to help Climate Tech startups scale their businesses, attract investment, and expand internationally, while contributing to Thailand’s long-term sustainability goals of achieving Carbon Neutrality by 2050 and Net Zero emissions by 2065.
