His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua at 20.00 hr on 31 December 2025 graciously delivered his New Year message to the Thai people from the Amphorn Sathan Residential Hall, Dusit Palace, giving encouragement to the Thai people and calling on them to strengthen unity.

In the royal message, His Majesty stated, “On the occasion of the New Year, Buddhist Era 2569, I extend my best wishes to all of you.

“You are all aware that in the past month of October, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother passed away. I was deeply moved beyond words to witness people of all walks of life coming together to pay homage to the Royal remains, in heartfelt remembrance of Her Majesty’s boundless royal grace and the many duties and sacrifices Her Majesty devoted to the nation throughout her life. For this, I express my profound gratitude to each of you, and I shall cherish this goodwill and affection as encouragement and strength to carry out all my duties to the very best of my ability in the years ahead.

“Looking back over the past year, it can truly be said that there have been many causes for concern, including volatile and tense international situations in various regions of the world, as well as severe natural disasters. When such events occur, they reveal difficulties and shortcomings in many areas and affect the lives, livelihoods, hopes, and morale of us all.

“For this reason, the strengthening of relations and friendship among nations, as well as the continual nurturing of love and unity within our country, are matters of the greatest importance. I earnestly hope that all of you will join together with even greater solidarity and that, in carrying out your responsibilities and duties, you will work in harmony while firmly upholding righteousness, virtue, and the common good of the nation.

“Such cooperation will serve as the foundation of the nation’s stability and the lasting peace and happiness of us all.

“May the power of the Triple Gem and of all sacred beings in whom you place your faith protect and preserve you, grant you freedom from suffering, and bestow upon you happiness and success in all that you aspire to achieve, in this year and always.”
