Thailand Lowers Disaster Management Level and Bangkok Lifts Disaster Area Designation, Following Improved Recovery Efforts

As the earthquake situation has been improved, the National Command Center for Disaster Prevention and Mitigation has lowered the disaster management level from large-scale (Level 3) to medium-scale (Level 2) for the earthquake incident, on 30 March 2025.

In addition, on 31 March 2025, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration also revokes the Bangkok Metropolitan Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Command Center’s announcement regarding disaster-affected areas in Bangkok.
