MFA Launches New Logo for the 80th Anniversary of Thailand's UN Membership

Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) held the launch ceremony for the commemorative logo of the 80th anniversary of Thailand’s membership in the United Nations (UN), reflecting on the country’s steadfast commitment as a responsible and constructive member of the international community. This special occasion also provides a pivotal opportunity to reaffirm Thailand’s resolve to collaborate with the UN in addressing contemporary global challenges and ensuring a sustainable future for successive generations.

The logo’s design was created by Miss Chamahthorn Uengsamphop, a 17-year-old student from Princess Chulabhorn Science High School in Pathum Thani, who was the winner of the logo design competition held to promote public engagement and raise awareness among Thai youth regarding multilateral diplomacy and Thailand’s role within the UN.

The logo features the number 80, olive branches, and the UN emblem combined with design elements related to Thailand—Elephant and Thai national flag. This artistic piece will serve as a symbol of continued support and cooperation across peace and security, human rights, as well as sustainable development between Thailand and the UN.
