The Faculty of Science at Mahidol University has entered into a collaboration with a private pathology organization to develop advanced Machine Learning systems aimed at enhancing accuracy in tissue diagnosis. The partnership focuses on integrating academic expertise with cutting-edge technology to create analytical tools and digital platforms that support medical professionals and researchers in achieving faster and more precise diagnostic outcomes.
The joint initiative includes the development of standardized digital pathology datasets, improved analytical algorithms, and innovative learning materials that will support modern training for students, researchers, and healthcare personnel. Through this collaboration, both sides intend to expand access to high-quality academic resources and strengthen Thailand’s capacity in digital
medical science.
This cooperation is expected to drive research excellence and support the healthcare sector with practical, high-performance diagnostic tools. By advancing digital pathology capabilities, the project aims to reduce workload for specialists, improve early detection of abnormalities, and contribute to raising Thailand’s medical and scientific standards to the international level.
