Bangkok Warns of Rising Water along Khlong Hok Wa Sai Lang in Sai Mai, Khlong Sam Wa, and Nong Chok

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) have issued a flood warning for residents along Khlong Hok Wa Sai Lang near the Pathum Thani border because of high water levels. The warning, issued at 4:49 p.m. on 29 September 2026, covers parts of Sai Mai, Khlong Sam Wa, and Nong Chok districts. Floodwaters have overtopped barriers, and BMA teams are currently reinforcing them with temporary structures.

Residents are advised to move belongings to higher ground, avoid flooded areas and canal banks, and follow official updates closely.
