For individuals who wish to apply for permission to harvest non-prohibited wood and are submitting their applications regionally, they can contact Forest Resource Management Offices 1 - 13 and all branches for proceeding. Applicants need to prepare the following documents and fees:
Documents Required:
- The original national identification card.
- A copy of the house registration, 1 copy.
- The original application for permission to cut wood.
- The original map showing the location.
- Evidence demonstrating that the applicant has the legal right to access the forest area, 1 copy. Multiple agencies issue these documents, such as the Royal Thai Treasury Department. For those who are allowed to benefit from the national conservation forest area, the documents are issued by the Department of Forestry, etc.
- In the case of a legal entity, a copy of the business registration certificate or document proving the establishment of the legal entity, issued no more than 6 months from the date of the document. Every copied document must be signed as a certified true copy, and the corporate seal of the applicant must be stamped. On the day of application, bring the original business registration certificate, certify every copied document as true copies, and attach the corporate charter of the entity.
- Original letter of attorney, attach a copy of the national identification card, stamp duty, certify every copied document as true copies, and attach a copy of the national identification card of the person giving the power of attorney.
Fees:
- Permit to cut non-prohibited wood (for commercial purposes), 20 baht per copy.
- Permit to cut non-prohibited wood (for other purposes), 5 baht per copy.
- Workers or laborers handbook, 1 baht per person.
