Nantha: Derived from Nantha, the name of the hermit who appeared in Phraya Pha Kong’s dream before relocating from Phu Pieng town. In his honor, the new town was named “Nanthaburi.”
Sippa: A term from the Pali language. In Thai, Sippa refers to knowledge across all disciplines.

By combining these words with "Arkhan" which means "building,"
Nantha Sippakhan conveys the meaning "the House of Comprehensive Knowledge of Nan City."
