On 29 June 2026, Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya attended the official State Banquet held at the Élysée Palace, the official residence of the President of the French Republic. Hosted by Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, and Madame Macron, the State Banquet was part of the State Visit of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailand to France.
On the occasion, Her Royal Highness wore the national dress, Chud Thai Dusit, one of Thailand’s royal ceremonial costumes traditionally reserved for formal evening functions and occasions requiring full ceremonial attire.
The ensemble was crafted from handwoven silk brocade featuring the Kaeo Ching Duang Lek pattern, naturally dyed with indigo and woven by the Chantharasoma Weaving Group under the direction of Master Weaver Veeratham Trakulngernthai. The garment was exquisitely tailored and intricately embroidered by Tirapan, the couture house of National Artist Theeraphan Wannarat.
Distinguished by its wide neckline, sleeveless silhouette, refined embroidered detailing, and traditional pleated silk skirt with a decorative front panel, the Thai Dusit dress beautifully reflects the elegance and enduring heritage of Thai royal attire.
Her Royal Highness's appearance was completed with makeup by Phuthada Porndhammachat and hairstyling by Somporn Thirin.
