The Tourism Authority of Thailand, led by Governor Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, (ฐาปนีย์ เกียรติไพบูลย์), organized the China–Thailand Tourism & Cultural Arts Festival 2026 at Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park in Bangkok, in which H.E. Mr. Yang Xiaolong (หยาง เสี่ยวหลง), the Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Thailand, delivered welcome remarks.

This event is a collaboration between TAT’s five offices in China and partner tour companies, offering Thailand travel packages and bringing over 800 Chinese tourists to participate. The event featured eight performance award categories to encourage creativity and elevate performance standards, along with a group dance activity, creating a lively and memorable atmosphere.

On this occasion, TAT, together with Thai private sector partners, presented high- potential tourism products and services to highlight Thailand’s diversity in health, culture, and lifestyle. These included health check-up services, Thai massage, herbal product demonstrations, DIY handicraft activities, experiencing Muay Thai and famous tourism attractions photo booths. Attendees also enjoyed Thai food and desserts. This event serves not only as a cultural platform but also as an important  mechanism  to  drive  Thailand–China  tourism  cooperation  toward sustainable growth.
